These beautifully embellished bags start as recycled plastic food bags that would have been used to carry industrial quantities of rice, couscous, flour and other commodity foods. They are used as a blank canvas and completely hand embroidered top to bottom and front to back. On the inside of the bag, the original printed branding designs are still visible. A zippered cotton canvas interior pouch is added, along with sturdy vegetable-tanned double leather handles.

These bags are light-weight and extremely durable and each one also comes with a fresh and funky zero-waste souk market bag that can be used as a dust bag or, again and again while shopping for your veggies!
