+  Christine Fail

As a result of Christine's background in metalsmithing, and because of past studio limitations, Christine chose not to solder or use cast pieces in her designs and relies solely on what are called cold-connection techniques. Working within these self-imposed limitations has forced her to be innovative and creative with her execution and style and is what sets her work apart from other designers.

Handcrafted in her backyard studio in Austin Texas, each piece starts out as wire or sheet, with the final form being created by hand-cutting and hammering, which ensures that every piece of jewelry is truly unique. With an aesthetic that is focused on understated elegance and attention to line and proportion her jewelry has an organic yet delicate feel.
