khadi + co

In the Marais at 37, rue Debelleyme is a little boutique called Khadi and Co, run by Bess Nielsen, a Danish textile designer. Nielsen works with a cooperative in India to produce her gorgeous range of scarves and tunics, largely made from the traditional Indian cloth known as khadi.

This season she has also come up with some really charming and fresh twists on the classic tote and postman bag which we have just received in the shop...

Unfortunately you will have to make the trip to Paris to find these other Khadi and Co pieces as they are exclusive to their shop and not available any other way (believe me, I tried)...sigh!
